Q. How does GSS make money?
A. We only get paid when we perform by getting you qualified leads. After you set-up the basics of your listing, you will be asked for your credit card information in order to begin set-up for the measurement tools. Your credit card is charged ONLY when a specific interaction
has been made. The statistics of these interactions and their totals will be found under Interaction Report in your administration pages. At the end of each month your total will be reflected and charged to your credit card account.
Q. What is the difference between Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and Pay-Per-InteractionTM (PPI)?
A. We believe that there is a real need for a more comprehensive internet advertising pay structure. In the current economic times, companies are looking for ways to cut costs, but still remain competitive. Pay-Per-Interaction allows companies to do both and Girl Shop Spot is here to bring it to you!
On GSS, the seller has the opportunity to create an interactive ad that is full of images and content in order to measure what's working, what people are interested in, and what they click on to learn more. Why wouldn't they? The more things you offer your customers to interact with in an online ad, the more qualified your leads become,
which in turn lowers the bounce rate of that ad that you would typically pay for in Pay-Per-Click advertising. You may be thinking how? Before potential customers contact you, click to your site or must haves, they have already learned about your business and what you're selling. These leads have already been pre-qualified and that's something you want to pay for.
Pay-Per-Click advertising is short text ads, typically found on very large search engines. Many times these ads create high bounce rates. You generally end up paying more for your leads, while not being able to measure the value-to-cost ratio, other than the gross traffic rate.
There are other types of advertising that may offer an image and short description with the Pay-Per-Click model.
What you are paying for is simply the initial click made, which doesn’t tell you if the person pursued more actions or if that’s as far as they went.
Q. How do I get started setting up shop & how do I set-up PPI?
A. To set-up shop click on the "Member's Registration" link also found on the very top right corner of this site to begin registering as a new advertiser. After registration you may click "Begin Shop Spot Set-Up." You will also be immediately e-mailed a password to sign-in anytime. You can learn more about your Shop Spot on the Why GSS page.
To set-up PPI simply sign-in and under "Shop Spot Management" select each tool with the Bumble Bee that uses the PPI Model in order to set the measurement for each. After you select each PPI tool, this will automatically track all interactions for that specific measurement. Here is where you can also enter your budgeted total amount for each paid interaction per month. All other free interactions are measured once a PPI Tool has been selected.
Click the link "Interaction Report" to the right of the page anytime to view your analytics. This page is where you can select the month and one of three reports to view your Shop Spot's traffic and Interaction Report.
Q. What's the pricing and break down?
A. Not all interactions cost, but all can be measured. Pricing starts for as little as $0.02 and can be found to the right of this page in the green box under PPI Membership with Measurement or even more information can be found on the pricing page.
Q. Is there a limit that I can set my monthly PPI budget at?
A. Yes, each paid interaction can be set at a maximum amount that you choose. We have no minimums you have to set. When all your paid interactions have exceeded your budgeted amount for each month, your Shop Spot will become a basic listing until a new month has been started. If your budget has run out for any of your interactions for that month, you may increase them at any time.

A. Our goals are to help educate advertisers on how shoppers interact with their ads by delivering them tools to manage and measure their ads. Many advertising sites that seem to offer a one-stop-shop e-commerce solution (or any advertising for that matter), still don't offer sellers cost-effective measurement tools to learn what interactions lead customers to make their purchases from their ads. They don't, for instance, track how many times a product or service image has been viewed, so you can measure the conversion rates for each. Are they clicking to view specials? How often are these specials clicked versus how many sales codes are used or entered? From where are they clicking to find the seller's ad?
